"We are willing to pay the necessary political costs. If we see that the cases skyrocket, we will do so," Cabinet chief Santiago Cafiero has settled, according to the Argentine news agency Télam.
"You cannot leave a meter away from this virus," he added, exemplifying his words with that "France, which had no more, yesterday had 10,000 cases."
The health authorities of the Latin American country have confirmed this Friday another 11,507 new cases of COVID-19, which have raised the global count to 535,705 infected people. As for the number of deaths, 241 have been registered in the last 24 hours, so Argentina already has 11,148 fatalities as a result of the disease.
